01Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how WoshBay ("WoshBay", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when a washing bay owner, manager or washer uses WoshBay's manager app and owner dashboard.

WoshBay is a business tool. It's used by bay owners and their staff to log services. It isn't aimed at, or knowingly used to collect information from, the general public browsing the internet.

02Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information — name, phone number, email, and role (owner, manager, or washer) for people you add to WoshBay.
• Business information — your bay's name, branch locations, service list, and pricing.
• Vehicle & service records — scanned or manually entered plate numbers, service type, price charged, washer assigned, and timestamps.
• Camera data — images captured for AI plate scanning, processed as described in Section 4.
• Payment information — subscription and billing details, handled by our payment processors (we don't store full card numbers ourselves).
• Usage & device data — app version, device type, and basic diagnostics that help us fix bugs and improve performance.

03How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Operate the manager app and owner dashboard, including plate scanning, service logging, and revenue reporting;
• Process subscription billing in your local currency where applicable;
• Provide customer support and respond to requests you send us;
• Maintain the security and reliability of the service;
• Improve WoshBay's features based on aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns.

We don't use your bay's records to build profiles for advertising, and we don't sell your data.

04Plate scans & camera data

Scanned plate images are processed to extract the plate number and are stored as part of your bay's service record so a manager can review or correct the scan. You control how long these records are kept through your account's export and deletion options described in Section 7.

05Sharing with third parties

We share information only where necessary to run WoshBay:

• Cloud hosting & infrastructure providers, who store and process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations;
• Payment processors, to handle subscription billing securely;
• Legal & safety — if required to comply with a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Dooinngs, our users, or the public.

We do not sell personal information or vehicle/service records to third parties.

06Storage & security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit and access controls — to protect data stored in WoshBay. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your bay's records and account information protected against unauthorized access.

07Retention, export & deletion

We retain your bay's records for as long as your account is active, so you have a complete revenue and service history. You can export your full record history at any time from your dashboard.

If you close your account, you may request deletion of your business's data, subject to any legal or accounting retention periods we're required to observe.

08Your rights & choices

Depending on where your business operates, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of information we hold about you or your bay. You can exercise most of these directly from your dashboard, or by contacting us using the details in Section 12.

09Children's privacy

WoshBay is a business tool for washing bay owners and staff and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children through the app.

10Operating across Africa

WoshBay serves washing bay owners across multiple African countries. Wherever your bay is located, your data may be processed and stored on servers outside your country, including in Ghana, where Dooinngs is based. We take steps to protect your information consistently regardless of where it's processed.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as WoshBay evolves. For material changes, we'll notify account owners by email or in-app notice before the changes take effect.
